About Spiti Valley
Spiti Valley is a Himalayan desert mountain valley at 13,000 feet in Himachal Pradesh. Often called "a piece of Tibet marooned in India" - it's enigmatic, raw, and interspersed with tiny hamlets and serene monasteries perched on mountain crags. Whitewashed mud-brick homes. Barley fields. Silence so deep you can hear yourself think.

Absolutely. Weather, road conditions, and the physical ability of the group may cause changes. The trip captain makes real-time decisions based on safety - and safety always comes first. These are real mountains, not theme parks. Flexibility is part of the adventure.
This expedition is designed for travelers aged 16–42.It's a power-packed itinerary that involves long drives, high altitudes, and basic accommodations. If you're outside this age bracket or have specific requirements, reach out - we create custom expeditions too.
Acts of God - unexpected snowfall, road closures, landslides - are a reality in these mountains. If such events occur, any additional arrangements (like a 4x4 vehicle) must be arranged and borne by the traveler. We'll help coordinate, but the cost is on you. We strongly recommend personal travel insurance.
